One Half of "LIFE" is "IF"

Did you know exactly one half of "LIFE" is "IF"? If we don't take action on whatever we're dreaming of becoming, doing or having it will begin to fade until all that's left is one big regret. I love the movie "Rudy" because it documents one kid's desire to do what he always wanted to do and the fact that he went to work on his dream.

Everytime I watch the video clip below where he runs on the field for the first time I get the shivers. So cool. What gives you the shivers and are you taking action on your dreams and goals like Rudy did?

Miley Cyrus sings about "The Climb" and Extraordinary Health

With two girls (ages 11 and 9) around the house, I get my fair share of watching Hannah Montana (A.K.A. Miley Cyrus).  Recently I had the pleasure of hearing a song she sang titled "The Climb" and I really liked it.  I wasn't touched the same way her dad's mullet (Billy Ray Cyrus) and "Achy breaky heart" song touched me back in the 90's but it was still a cool song. Watch the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNkrzRLJeU8 and see the lyrics below.

The song reminded me of the challenges we all have in climbing Extraordinary Health Mountain and achieving all of our personal and professional goals.  I hope you enjoy it and receive encouragement from it today.  Stay strong!

The Climb lyrics
Songwriters: Alexander, J; Mabe, J;

I can almost see it
That dream I am dreaming
But there's a voice inside my head saying
"You'll never reach it"

Every step I'm taking
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking

But I gotta keep trying
Gotta keep my head held high

There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be a uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb

The struggles I'm facing
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes might knock me down
But no, I'm not breaking

I may not know it
But these are the moments that
I'm gonna remember most, yeah
Just gotta keep going

And I, I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on

'Cause there's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be a uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb, yeah!

There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Somebody's gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb, yeah!

Keep on moving, keep climbing
Keep the faith, baby
It's all about, it's all about the climb
Keep the faith, keep your faith, whoa
